Hi!

Are there anyways to add the select button on “Ask a question” page?

When selecting this button, the notification is sent to all user.

But sending notification to all specific user groups – is this possible?

Example: Geek group recive email with new question and they can give answers.

Yes, its possible but you have to add your own callback. Have a look at our existing email addon.

Hey Ancol,

This will be tough with current notification system. Currently, AnsPress create row for each notification and if we do something like you requested then there will be lots of rows inserted to database. Also eventually your site may get down.

I am thinking to update our notification system so that any numbers of notification can be sent.

How about if I can set all user by default follow one topic? So they’ll get the notification when admin post in that topic? Is there a way to do that?
