Anspress style sheet not working, and breaking my own style sheet

When I activate AnsPress the “visited links” CSS style is broken on the entirety of my site because the AnsPress CSS sheet is not loading. The web console brings up the following error:

Looking at the CSS file it’s pointing to, it’s just a blank file…
Any help much appreciated so I can fix my site!

I’ve added some code to overrides.css and the “could not be loaded” error goes away, but my site’s CSS is still broken unless I disable AnsPress. Specifically, visited links now appear identical in style to the body text unless I disable AnsPress, so it’s impossible to see visited links!

Ok, easy fix, just ticked the tickbox “Check this to load AnsPress JS and CSS on the AnsPress page only. Be careful, this might break layout.”
It seemed to fix my layout, not break it. So far!
